At the beginning of June, we went on a field trip to Zootah.

It was Minta and her kids and Sunnie and her kids.

And of course Torrin and I.

There was a teacher there that gave us our own demonstration of some of the animals.

First thing she pulled out of a box was this guy.

He was a few years old but will live for about 200 years.

Next was this beautiful cockatoo.

He is from the rain forest.

Then she got out a grunting thing all wrapped up in a blanket.

It was a hedgehog!

She finished with a salamander.

Her demo was done so into the park we went.

We bought the kids some bird food and let them have at it.

This reindeer was so neat to see so close.

Afterwards we went to the park next door and ate lunch.

It was a very small zoo but was so much fun.
